Mindfulness Training Getaway
 January 26-28, 2018
Take a trip down to Virginia wine country to find peace and relaxation at the luxury Historic Inn in the Village of Hume, VA.   

Oxana and TJ will lead us in daily Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Flow, Zazen and Qi Gong meditation and Mandala art classes. On this retreat, learn and take home your custom-tailored meditation practice. Enjoy private mindfulness coaching and Reiki sessions. After three days of relaxation and meditation, you'll return home with a clear vision of how you can incorporate mindfulness into your busy schedule. 

This retreat offers a safe and comfortable way to explore mindfulness and meditation in a group of like-minded yogis. TJ and Oxana are experienced yoga and meditation teachers and have picked up a few tricks along their yoga journey that they will happily share to make your meditation time enjoyable and stress free.

Surrounded by spectacular landscapes, the Historic Inn is a perfect retreat where you can catch up on your rest in luxurious suites, find quiet time in the English courtyard and the historic log tavern, or relax by a fireplace in the charming living room.

Meet The Team
Oxana Romanyuk
Oxana’s practice is heavily influenced by Dharma yoga, graceful and challenging sequences based on Dharma Mittra’s fifty years of practice of classical yoga. She incorporates subtle anatomy, qi gong, essential oils, and Sanskrit chants into her yoga classes.

Her goal is to bring the highest light in people and to create the space for the deepest inner love. She encourages students to find their balance between effort and ease.

TJ’s Yoga story began when he received a book, the Tao Te Ching, as a gift from his sister 18 years ago. With an MFA in art and 6 years as a grade school art teacher, TJ has a deep appreciation for the journey of self-exploration that is essential to learning. That paired with traveling, reading countless books, and over a decade of meditation, TJ decided that the inward journey would be his focus. He began seeking out teachers to deepen his understanding and go beyond the limits he had reached on his own.

Several years ago TJ’s journeys led him to Taoism and Yin Yoga beginning with Bernie Clark’s 60 hour Yin training in Vancouver. Next, he studied with Corina Benner in her 30 hour Yin training in NYC. After that, he found Stephanie Calhoun and took her 100 hour Yin training and 200 hour Yoga teacher training. From there he continued with her 100 hour Chakra training and 100 hour Restorative Yoga training, completing his 500 hour training in 2015.

Currently receiving her Masters in Clinical Nutrition at Maryland University of Integrative Health Joani believes in the power of healing, delicious and easy food. Her love of experimenting with vegetarian and vegan meals has driven her creative cooking projects. She works with fellow food lover and friend, Haley Slafer, creating small press cooking zines to inspire home cooking projects for everyone.
